Warehousing Issue
By nikhil5346 at 16 Jul 2013 - 15:15

There are 2 tables whltc100 and whltc 105 for Lots. For few items whltc105 is not showing the LOT DATE while whltc100 is showing the LOT DATE for the same items.

I just want to know that is there any specific transaction without performing which LOT DATE does not get updated in whltc105 or is there any other reason. If there is any other reason then can anybody suggest that.

By 208036255 at 16 Nov 2012 - 20:40

How do we view and troubleshoot a qkey script?  That is, one that wraps around a Baan scriptAre there known issues with running Qkey running from a NAS (NFS share)?

Are there any known performance problems related to Qkey and a way to troubleshoot?

AFS Session Hang
By pankajthakare at 9 Nov 2011 - 06:22

Hi, I have written AFS to add Estimated Material in BaaN V.Through AFS following sessions invokes & end properly with the below sequence. tisfc0110s000 -  Estimated Materials (To add New Record)
tisfc0510m000 - Estimated Materials
tisfc0501m000 - Production Orders

After complete the process, in BaaN shell I have not found any new PID for any main or sub session; still the new/main session (through which AFS is called) is in hanging stage. When I put exit() after complete the process then session exit properly.

 Thanks,

Pankaj Thakare

ERP Buyer's Corner: Thinking of Upgrading to ERP LN or Expanding the Search? Some Food for Thought
By Jonathan Gross at 31 May 2011 - 14:16

Many companies running Infor Baan ERP software are reaching a crucial juncture. Do they upgrade to Infor's ERP LN software, stick with their current software or expand the search to include other vendors.

When to Consider Expanding the Search Beyond ERP LN

In general, companies running Baan IV ERP software should consider expanding their search to include vendors in addition to Infor. Why? Because LN represents wholesale changes in technology, user interface and functionality. Implementation and training will probably be more akin to a new implementation than a version upgrade.

Companies in this position are - for all intents and purposes - evaluating a different product in ERP LN. Given the differences, there is no certainty that LN will be the right fit. And, even if LN is good enough, another system might prove to be an even better fit.
