If you are regular baanboard user you will have noticed that since 1st of June 2008 alot of changes and new features have been introduced to the site. This page will try to briefly describes these changes and features. It will link to subsequent pages for more detailed information where necessary.
CMS & frontpage
Baanboard now features a full-fledged CMS system that integrates seamlessly with our existing forum. This CMS is powered by vbDrupal which is adapted version of the very popular Drupal CMS that provides bridging to our forum software vBulletin. Some of the most important features that the CMS integration brings to us are:
The wiki has been obsoleted as part of the Drupal CMS integration. All relevant wiki content was migrated into the CMS. If for some reason you suspect that some original wiki content is still missing from the CMS then contact us.
All existing wiki accounts have been removed as we now have a single sign-on for the entires site. Your previous baanboard forum account will now serve as login to the entire site.
If you are looking for the BaanERP Programmer's Manual then please go this page or use the site search to look for terms of the programmer's manual.
Your account has been temporary locked because we received e-mail bounces from your registered email address when sending notifications or update messages to your email address. Members whose account has been locked for this purpose will only have limited access to content on this site.
The user reputation/rating system allows the board members to leave comments about one anothers' posts, and thereby contribute to their overall 'reputation'.
Members can gain and/or lose reputation based on how their posts are scored by other forum participants. Members with the ability to affect reputation, will either give or take aways points by approving or disapproving with a post's content. This can be achieved by clicking on the reputation icon
The ability to add/remove from another member's reputation is based on a set of controls which includes seniority, post count, own reputation level etc. This is expressed as reputation-altering power and will typically increase over time and by contributing more to the board. The higher your reputation-altering power is, the more impact a comment on another member's post will have.
A member's reputation/rating is depicted by a single icon with varying colours. The darker the colour the more neutral a reputation/rating is, the brighter the colour the more positive/negative a reputation/rating score is.

Why considersponsoring Baanboard.com?

Secondly, sponsoring will help to keep Baanboard.com free of obtrusive banners and membership fees. The sponsoring schemes Baanboard.com is offering are a discrete, low-cost yet effective way for an organization to profile itself on the website.
Thirdly, sponsoring will enable us to build on future projects with Baanboard.com and will enable us to look for paid expertise. All of these will be aimed at providing more and better services for each Baanboard.com user.
