The Business Analyst (BA) role is to gather, analyze, specify, and validate the business needs of the functional users of the Infor ERP LN (LN) applications and peripheral systems. This includes interviewing stakeholders and gathering and compiling user and technical requirements to convey to development teams throughout the software lifecycle. The BA will also apply proven communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to help support the development process, and to ensure that project deliverables are met according to specifications. Furthermore, the BA will also act as a training and knowledge resource of the capabilities and use of the LN applications. The BA will work closest with our Finance function.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Training and Knowledge Source
Provide training on functional aspects of LN for new facilities and functional groups
Provide research and prototyping on new functionality of LN
Test patches, reports, new functionality, upgrades
Liaison between users, departments and projects teams and programming
Configuring and designing the ERPLN system to support process improvement activities
Provide IT leadership for project teams
Day to Day support requests
Ad Hoc reports
Implement LN for New Facilities/Sites
Training Key Users
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science, Information Systems, or other related field. Or equivalent work experience.
Minimum 4 years relevant industry experience with a minimum of 2 years in manufacturing/distribution/sales environments.
General knowledge of financial functions: accounting, cost, AR and AP.
Experience on enterprise-wide initiatives and/or large Tier-1 ERP package implementations required
Familiar with manufacturing, warehousing and distribution process and techniques
Experienced in writing procedures and/or test plans
Experienced in formal problem solving
Experienced in training in both classroom and field settings
KNOWLEDGE & PERSONAL ATTRIBUTES:

Knowledge of SQL Reporting, preferably MS Reporting Services and SharePoint
