Reorder Points and Safety Stocks
By M Collins at 15 Mar 2016 - 19:29

Looking for advice on the following:

Currently I have a part number that is used in (3) different warehouses. Is there a way to be able to set-up unique reorder points, safety stocks and reorder quantities that are exclusive to that particular warehouse.

Example:

Part Number: XYZ      Warehouse 001     Reorder Point: 5,000 PCs     Safety Stock: 2,000 PCs     Order Quantity Increment: 2,500 PCs

                                Warehouse 002     Reorder Point: 10,000 PCs   Safety Stock: 4,000 PCs     Order Quantity Increment: 3,500 PCs

                                Warehouse 003     Reorder Point: 1,000 PCs     Safety Stock: 500 PCs        Order Quantity Increment: 500 PCs

 These warehouses are not located near each other (300+ miles apart) so it's not as easy as just transferring an item from one warehouse to another.

Hi

this can be done by using "Warehouse Item Session" whwmd2100m000 'replenishment' tab.

I have items in different warehouses and from different suppliers. These different suppliers have different minimum order quantities. So;
What if I want to have for one and the same article safetystock per warehouse and minimum order quantity per supplier?
