3 year contract position for ERP 4c4/ln Techo Functional with good international Supply chain exp. relocation paid with paid travel to visit home once a year.

Purpose:
This role provides Baan functional, technical and interface support for business critical Baan IVc4 ERP systems, along with other applications. The role involves analyzing and resolving issues, understanding the different processes and suggesting improved ways of working using existing applications or identifying and implementing changes to the existing applications to achieve improvements. The role also involves partnering with other IT analysts to translate business requirements into practical and effective IT business solutions. The support will include analyzing problems in IT applications, and formulating successful solutions to ensure continuity of automated business operations.
Specific Outcomes / Accountability:
Troubleshoots problems with the Baan system and related interfaces, and then develops fixes
Assists global team in customization of Baan on a continuous basis, including validation and testing
Involved in design and configuration of new interfaces between applications, suppliers, distributors, etc.
Creates\Executes effective scripts and programs using Baan Tools and other technologies to ensure end users requirements are met
Coordinates testing and modifications to the system as part of internal change control
Monitors and maintains the integrity of the system interfaces
Designs and develops Business Intelligence reporting solutions through Baan, data warehouse, SQL reporting services and custom reports using Baan Tools
Ensures that correct and up-to-date documentation and operating procedures are available
Collaborates with the global team in IT application roll-outs at other locations
Co-ordinates and tracks the performance and progress by outside consultants and development teams to ensure adherence to software development standards while maintaining the integrity of the data, applications and the procedures.
Qualifications & Experience:
Must have functional exposure to at least Baan Logistics
Experience with at least 4 full cycle implementations/upgrade projects in Baan ERP environment starting from the requirement analysis and gap analysis and suggesting and evaluating proposed changes and implementation of these changes and post implementation support.
Good understanding of the supply chain process concepts as implemented within the Baan application
In-depth developer and systems architecture experience (7+ years) with Baan IVc4 ERP tools
Experience and understanding of Infor ERP LN tools, functions, features and differences with respect to Baan IV c4
In-depth understanding of Baan table structures to facilitate reporting demands
Baan administration capabilities (e.g., creation of users, printer setups, authorizations)
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience in a related field
Demonstrated ability to create, manage and complete complex projects using project management processes, tools and methods
Must be able to effectively work in teams and multitask effectively between various tasks and projects ensuring that the milestones are met on time.
Strong communication skills, both written and oral and ability to work efficiently with peers, end users, management, and outside vendors
Ability to coordinate requests from different business areas, prioritize them based on the business criticality and its impact on the stream level and the overall business.
